Rev. Paul Kotei is the founder and Pastor of Commissioned World Outreach Church Ministry in Reston, Virginia (U.S.A.). Rev. Paul Kotei is married to a very humble and lovely wife (Gertrude),
and blessed with a daughter (Salome). They are a loving family who serves God and their community with open arms.

He was born into a Christian home in Accra Ghana. Rev. Paul Kotei has a great deal of love for his people and his homeland. On March 31st, 1981, he attended a crusade in which he accepted Christ into his life. This message was preached to him by Brother Samuel Abbey, who has since gone to be with the lord. With his newfound faith, he started reaching out to his community through Dawn Broadcasting.

At the young age of 16, Rev. Paul Kotei started a wonderful journey of preaching and helping others to find God. He joined the Ghana Evangelical Society, a charismatic church that was headed by Brother Immanuel Enoch Amanor Agbozo. In 1983, when famine had reached his homeland of Ghana, Rev. Paul Kotei felt compelled to start his own ministry called Bus Evangelisum. The message he preached was, “Righteousness Exalteth A Nation: A Sin Is A Reproach To Any People” Proverbs 14:34. Realizing that the youth in his homeland is the future, he was instrumental in spreading the Gospel in the public schools.

In 1985, he joined the Calvary Apostolic Ministry, which was headed by Rev. Seth Abbey at OSU. He was a member of the Prayer Warriors in which during this time many churches invited him to preach to their congregation. For his love of God and fervent service, he was appointed the leader of the Ringway Christian Fellowship in 1989. Everyone in the community witnessed his undivided dedication and named him “small boy pastor”. In 1992 he was awarded a scholarship to Torchbearer Bible School in Germany to become a pastor. It was not easy for him to leave his homeland, but Rev. Paul Kotei saw the big picture that God had laid out for him. During his seminary year, through prayer and fasting Rev. Paul Kotei received a revelation from the lord. He saw himself pasturing a church in the United States of America.

After completion of his course in 1993, Rev. Paul Kotei was ordained by Bishop Seth Abbey as an evangelist for the church at OSU. In 1994, Rev. Paul made his first visit to the United States. But the time was not right for him to stay. So he made his way back to Ghana and to his parish. In 1998, Rev. Paul was given a sign that the time was right for him to leave his homeland and go to the United States. In 1999, Rev. Paul found a new home in Virginia, and fulfilled his calling by establishing the Commissioned World Outreach Church Ministry. It was made official on May 4th, 2003 by the Fairfax County Circuit Court. His ministry prides itself on serving members from different cultures. Currently his parish is made up of seven different countries. Rev. Paul through the Lords guiding wisdom brings this wonderful parish together as one family.

Rev. Paul Kotei has been called an “Apostle to the Nations” and has been instrumental in helping countries such as: Ghana, Cote D' Ivoire, Germany, and the United States. Known for delivering a prophetic and soul healing message, Rev. Paul guides his parish as the Lord guides him. As a family man, Rev. Paul provides comfort for those in needs with real world solutions and advice. The Commissioned World Outreach Church and Ministry is Rev. Paul Kotei’s family.
